Benfica's just picking the narrow victory when faced with Sporting Braga in Europa League semi-final first leg. Playing a game on home, Benfica winning by a score of 2-1. The match between Benfica vs Braga held at the Estadio da Luz on Thursday (04/28/2011).

Benfica controlled the first half but until the break the score still goalless draw.
In the second half the hosts opened the scoring through Jardel at minute 50', but managed to equalized by Vandindo at minute 53'. Before Oscar Cardozo Benfica scored the winning goal six minutes later.
Despite this victory, Benfica has not completely safe. Because Braga just need a 1-0 win for next Thursday's second leg to ensure a ticket to the final.
