Barcelona and UNICEF agreed to extend cooperation to the season ahead. Except this time the Unicef logo did not appear the front of the jersey, but below player's number.
Such information is conveyed through the official website of FC Barcelona, fcbarcelona.cat. UNICEF being displaced to the rear by the Qatar Foundation, which has reached an agreement of sponsorship with Barca's management.
For the last five years FC Barcelona has supported UNICEF to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and provide global brand awareness for UNICEF. The next phase of the partnership that is still under discussion aims at utilising the social assets of the club in support of a global movement for education and sport that will deliver tangible results for children.
