Everton 2-1 Manchester City



After a behind first time, the Toffees managed to turn things around and won the game with the score 2-1.

The match between Everton contra Manchester City held at Goodison Park on Saturday (05/07/2011). Yaya Toure brought City leading, until the first half was over by his goal in minute 29. Appeared to set City on course for a win that would have virtually guaranteed a place in the top four as they exerted total domination over the Toffees.

Although more control of the game City just missed in the second half. Former City defender Sylvain Distin headed Everton's equaliser from Mikel Arteta's free-kick after 65 minutes with goalkeeper Joe Hart at fault and followed by a goal from Leon Osman to beat City seven minutes later.

With this result Everton remain in seventh position with the acquisition of the standings 51 points from 36 games. while the City remains at number four with a collection of 62 points from 35 matches.
