Porto 1-0 Braga: Andre Villas-Boas becomes the youngest manager to win a major European competition

FC Porto become winner the Europa League, after winning 1-0 in the final over other Portuguese club, Sporting Braga. Porto winning goal scored by Radamel Falcao.

Falcao scored his goal through a header in the last minute first half. The match held at Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Wednesday (18/05/2011). He also wins Europa League final with record 17th goal in Europe this season

Andre Villas-Boas, Porto's head coach is 33-year-old, who became the youngest coach ever to win a Uefa club competition, guided the Portuguese club to the trophy they won eight years ago under Jose Mourinho.

Porto do the double, having previously they won the Portuguese League. Porto can win the treble winnwer because they still going to play in Portugal Cup final.

With two sides from the same nation competing for the trophy, it was always likely to be a cagey affair. As so it proved as underdogs Braga opted to keep things tight and flooded the midfield and defence.

Custodio wasted an early Braga chance when he smashed a shot wide from the edge of the penalty area but they soon settled into a defence-minded strategy. Braga held out until 44 minutes when Fredy Guarin crossed for Falcao to plant a header in the top corner. Mossoro almost equalised when through one-on-one but Helton saved well.
