Wayne Rooney penalty was enough to secure Manchester United's record-breaking 19th league title on an afternoon of high drama at Ewood Park againts Blackburn Rovers.
In the first half, Manchester United was behind 1-0 through Brett Emerton after a mix-up in the United defense involving stand-in goalkeeper Thomas Kuszczak.
At the last minute first half, even Manchester United was almost conceded again after goalkeeper Kuszczak played the ball in front of goal so that can be taken Blackburn player. Luckily, the ball that successfully captured the Blackburn players, off beside the goal.
Rooney's 73rd-minute equalising penalty was enough to spark scenes of celebration as United gained the point to take them beyond the challenge of Chelsea in the title race. The penalty given because of Chicharito dropped in the penalty box by goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
