Bolton 2-1 Arsenal, Arsenal's Premier League title challenge is all but over



Arsenal were beaten by Bolton Wanderers 1-2. These results make the chance of Arsenal winning the Premier League competition practically gone. The defeat at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday (24/04/2011), making Arsenal remain in the top three standings. With four games remaining to the end of the season, they collected 64 points, nine points behind Manchester United and three points from Chelsea.

Arsenal were below par in the first half and trailed at half-time to Daniel Sturridge's header following a corner. Gary Cahill's header from a corner was blocked on the line by Samir Nasri and Sturrdidge was first to react, and goals.

An early in the second half, Wojciech Szczesny saved a Kevin Davies penalty and a minute later Robin van Persie scored in an equalizer for Arsenal.

The Gunners had enough chances to win the match but were left shocked by Tamir Cohen's poignant late header.
