Edin Dzeko's first Premier League goal allowed Manchester City beat Blackburn Rovers

Manchester City won an important victory against Blackburn Rovers. Roberto Mancini's men won 1-0 thanks to a goal Edin Dzeko.

In the match at Ewood Park on Monday (4/25/2011), City has struggled to overcome host resistance. Although a lot of chances, they failed to score a goal in the first half.

Dzeko who came on in mid second half appeared as a hero. His first goal in the Premier League to make sure The Citizens earn full points.

This victory did not change the position of City ranked fourth in the standings with 59 points from 33 matches. They are four points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the race for a ticket to the Champions League next season. while Blackburn is ranked 16th with 35 points.
