Roma 0 - 1 Inter, Stankovic gives Inter Milan first leg Copa Italia semi final victory

Inter Milan have placed one foot into the Coppa Italia final. The victory in the first semi-final against AS Roma at the Olimpico on Tuesday (4/19/2011).

A sensational Stankovic strike on the stroke of half-time gave Inter to a 1-0 victory over Roma in the first-leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie on Tuesday evening.

It was Inter's first win after two games in his last always lose. Good results for the second match at the Giuseppe Meazza May 11 next.

Stankovic collected Esteban Cambiasso’s chipped pass and then hit a shot high across a diving Doni between the Roma posts. It seared into the net and the Italian champions went into the break 1-0 up.
