Stephan El Shaarawy join to Milan on a co-ownership deal for €10m

Genoa Midfielder Stephan El Shaarawy is close to joining AC Milan on a co-ownership deal, Rossoneri have bought a 50 percent stake in 18 year old player for €10 million.

As the two sides agreed on a co-ownership deal Alexander Merkel will be playing for Genoa next season.

Stephan El Shaarawy is excited to now be an AC Milan player, he has previously spoken of his dream to join AC Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, he told “It will be an honour to play alongside all these great champions and I can’t wait to get started”.

“My hope is to start off straight away by winning the Italian Super Cup against Inter, my first official game for the club", he said.

El Shaarawy spent last season on loan at Padova, where he helped them reach the final of the Serie B playoffs. Padova were beaten 2-0 on aggregate by Novara who ended a 55 year absence from Serie A.

The Italy Under-21 player has an Italian mother and Egyptian father, earning him the nickname "Little Pharaoh".

Inter defend Coppa Italia after beat Palermo 3-1

Inter retained the Coppa Italia after a 3-1 victory over Palermo, crowning La Beneamata's cup champions for the seventh time.

Samuel Eto'o struck twice to help Inter Milan salvage a trophy from a disappointing season in Italian Cup final at olympico stadium on Sunday (5/29/2011). He scored in the 26th minute and 76th minutes after latching on to precise Wesley Sneijder passes.

Palermo’s hope before a late Ezequiel Munoz header from a corner kick ensured it would be a dramatic conclusion. But the Argentine defender was then sent off and substitute Diego Milito scored in injury time to give the Nerazzurri their success in the Coppa Italia this season.

Inter Milan go to Italian Cup final

Inter Milan a 1-1 draw as host AS Roma in the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg. Thanks to victory in the first meeting, Nerazzurri still get into the final with a 2-1 aggregate advantage.

Compete in front of his own supporters at Stadium Giuseppe Meazza, Wednesday (05/11/2011), Inter ahead first through Samuel Eto'o in the 58th minute. But six minutes before the match over Marco Boriello equalized to 1-1.

These results make Inter qualify for the finals with a 2-1 aggregate, after the first game in Rome won 1-0. Going to the finals Inter will face Palermo, which successfully beat AC Milan 4-3 on aggregate.

Coppa Italia finals will be held at Stadium Olimpico in Rome on 29 May.

Beat Milan, Palermo headed into the final Coppa Italia

AC Milan failed meet ambitions reach two titles this season. Rossoneri lost 1-2 when a visit to Palermo in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg, making them failed towards to the finals, having lost an aggregate 3-4.

After the first leg at San Siro 2-2 draw, Milan appear to attack since the early minutes. But after playing without a goal in the first half, goalkeeper Christian Abbiati conceded twice in the second half. The hosts took the lead through Giulio Migliaccio shortly after the hour-mark. Cesare Bovo then doubled the home side's advantage with a penalty after a foul by Mark Van Bommel, for which the ex-Bayern Munich man received his marching orders.

Bovo was then sent off himself for a horrible kick on Alexandre Pato. Substitute Zlatan Ibrahimovic clawed one back just before the final whistle, but it was too little, too late as Palermo advanced to the Coppa Italia final thanks to a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Qualify for the finals, Palermo will face the winner of match between Inter Milan vs. AS Roma. Nerazzurri currently considered superior aggregate 1-0 and have a great chance to qualify as the second leg will be held at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Roma 0 - 1 Inter, Stankovic gives Inter Milan first leg Copa Italia semi final victory

Inter Milan have placed one foot into the Coppa Italia final. The victory in the first semi-final against AS Roma at the Olimpico on Tuesday (4/19/2011).

A sensational Stankovic strike on the stroke of half-time gave Inter to a 1-0 victory over Roma in the first-leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie on Tuesday evening.

It was Inter's first win after two games in his last always lose. Good results for the second match at the Giuseppe Meazza May 11 next.

Stankovic collected Esteban Cambiasso’s chipped pass and then hit a shot high across a diving Doni between the Roma posts. It seared into the net and the Italian champions went into the break 1-0 up.

At the beginning of the second half, had an incident. Emotions because of losing the ball due to be taken, Vucinic release elbow Lucio chest. But, the incident was not seen referee so Vucinic not get a warning card.
