Moreover, in the second leg later, Kyiv come to Braga without striker/ captain, Andriy Shevchenko for expelled by the referee in this match. Shevchenko got a second yellow card in the 61st minute for kicking the ball into the goal even though he was declared offside.
"I did not hear the whistle, the goalkeeper also did not hear, so the game continues," said Shevchenko as reported by the Associated Press.
