Duisburg 0-5 Schalke: Royal Blues won the DFB Pokal



Schalke won the German Cup this season. In the finals they beat Duisburg 5-0. DFB Pokal final match of the season was held on Saturday (05/21/2011) at Olympia Stadium, Berlin.

Schalke goal lead through Julian Draxler when the game lasts 18 minutes. 17-year-old player was successfully take advantage of the pass from Jefferson Farfan. and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar doubled the advantage four minutes later. Benedikt Howedes powerfully headed home a corner moments before half-time, and Jose Manuel Jurado added a fourth in the 54th minute.

Huntelaar completed his brace on 71 minutes, and die Knappen managed to keep a clean sheet in what was likely to be Manuel Neuer's last game in a Schalke shirt.

Schalke's victory marks their fifth ever DFB Pokal title. The result is doubly advantageous as it grants the winners an automatic spot in the 2011-12 Europa League.

This victory is the biggest score in the final of the German Cup championship since 1972, As Schalke beat Kaiserslautern with a score of 5-0.
