According to the Real Madrid Official Web Site, They were optimistic coach Jose Mourinho will be successful in his second year with Los Blancos.
Madrid's confidence exposed by the club's official website. They claimed Mourinho's success when undergoing his second year as coach of Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
From the three teams, winning eight titles in total during his second years. With Porto in 2002-03, Mourinho get the Portuguese Primeira Liga title, Portuguese Cup and UEFA Cup.
While in the 2005-06 season, Mourinho brought Chelsea won English Premier League and FA Community Shield. While with Inter Milan in the 2009-10 season, Mourinho gave three titles, Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League. The treble earned him FIFA's Coach of the Year award.
"I didn't win the UEFA Cup in my second season at Porto, nor did I earn the Champions League title in my second year at Inter Milan, just by chance. It's normal for a team to be more solid in a second season," said Mourinho in a recent interview.
