Bolton 2-3 Manchester City

Dzeko celebrates his goal (videa.hu)
Manchester City beat Bolton Wanderers 3-2 at the Reebok Stadium for topping the Premier League and now are unbeaten in their last six games.

David Silva gave City the lead from the edge of the box when his tame shot was spilled into the net by the normally reliable Jussi Jaaskelainen in the 26th minute, then the host failed to close down Gareth Barry from a corner, He arrowed a 30 yarder into the top corner.

But Bolton hit back within a minute when Ivan Klasnic was able to turn Martin Petrov’s cross beyond England goalkeeper Joe Hart.

After the break City continued to hunt for a third goal and they were rewarded within 90 seconds when a fluffed defensive clearance from Zat Knight was seized upon by the Bosnian Edin Dzeko.

Bolton's second goal came against the run of play when Paul Robinson swung in a free-kick deep on the right and Kevin Davies rose to head expertly past Hart.

The Citizen now top the table on goal difference alongside Wolves and they are the only two teams to have won both of their Premier League games.
