Doni join Livepool as back-up for first choice Pepe Reina who is currently still recovering from a double hernia operation.
Doni has 10 caps for Brazil, who a key role in their Copa America success in 2007 and played 179 times over six seasons for Gialorossi.
Doni is third summer signing following the capture of Jordan Henderson from Sunderland and Charlie Adam from Blackpool in agreeing to join Liverpool since the end of the 2010/2011 season and a fee has also been agreed for Aston Villa's winger Stewart Downing.
