Venezuela is now at the top of Group B standings in 2011 Copa America after victory 1-0 against Ecuador at Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena, while Brazil snatch a 2-2 draw with Paraguay after substitute Fred hit a last-minute equaliser.

After playing a draw until the first half, the deadlock finally broken on 61 minutes. Midfielder Cesar Eduardo Gonzalez struck a powerful right-footer drive from 25 yards sank into the right side of the wicket keeper Marcelo Ramon Elizaga without he could do much.
